Dr Aimée Brame is a Consultant Physician who has completed specialist training in Respiratory, General Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine. Her undergraduate training was at the University of Birmingham (2001) and postgraduate training was in Respiratory and General Medicine in the North West Thames region. She completed Intensive Care training in the London deanery and holds the European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine.
Dr Brame has a PhD in Translational Medicine and Therapeutics from the University of Cambridge and is currently involved in several clinical studies investigating changes in haemodynamics in a range of clinical conditions. She has authored several book chapters and published original papers and abstracts. Dr Brame has an extensive knowledge of general medicine and respiratory medicine and her specialist subspeciality interest is in pulmonary vascular disease and breathlessness.
She is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London, a fellow of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine and a Senior Clinical Lecturer at King's College, London.
Dr Brame was the General Medical advisor for BBC2 television series Diagnosis Detectives.
